12th Deep-sea Biology Symposium
The 12th Deep-sea Biology Symposium will happen in Reykjavík, Iceland, 7-11 June 2010.
The deep-sea biology symposia are the biggest events of the deep-sea community. Many deep-sea researchers have excellent memories from past meetings and strong links between resarchers have been made at these meetings. At these meeting projects numerous projects have been planned and many young scientists have gotten their first invitations there for a berth at sea.
Registration will open in January 2010 at the event's homepage.

Rotifera XIII: Meeting Possibilities
The XIII International Rotifer Symposium (Rotifera XIII) will be in 2012.
For the next meeting in 2012 proposals should be made. The prospective candidates willing to organise this meeting should download an information and question file. Expressions of interests should be submitted immediately to Linda May. Full proposals with answers to the questions should be submitted by end of August 2010 to Linda May.

Symposium Antarctic-South American Interactions
The international symposium on ‘Antarctic-South American Interactions in the Marine Environment’ aims to provide a forum where the scientific community will have the chance to debate this issue, besides gathering results from both continents in their latest academic efforts.
The symposium expects the attendance of scientific and non-scientific delegates with diverse background, including undergraduate and graduate students, post-graduates, researchers, general public, and government representatives.
The symposium will happen in Rio de janeiro (Brazil) and the deadline for registration is next 15th October!

SAME11 – 11 th Symposium on Aquatic Microbial Ecology
From 30 August to 04 September 2009, the National Institute of Biology, Marine Biology Station will host the International Meeting SAME11 – 11 th Symposium on Aquatic Microbial Ecology, bringing together leading scientists from around the world to discuss important topics in microbial ecology and related issues.
The International Symposium on Aquatic Microbial Ecology will continue in the tradition of previous meetings. Conference activities will embrace different aspects of research into aquatic microbial ecology, offering opportunities to share information among aquatic ecologists, molecular biologists, biochemists, and those in related areas.
