7th European Ostracodologists Meeting: first information



EOM 7 will take place in Graz, located in south-eastern Austria, in 25. – 28. July, 2011.
Parts of this medieval city are not only a UNESCO World Heritage, but Graz is also well known as a city of universities (founded in 1585), famous museums (Joanneum, founded 1811) and modern arts (cultural capital of Europe in 2003).

16th International Symposium on Ostracoda: News!



We have some new information concerning the 16th International Symposium on Ostracoda. The theme of the symposium is "Bistratigraphy and Applied Ecology" and it will be held in Brasilia (Brazil), from 20 to 30th of July, 2009.

On the Symposium page you can already acess the first circular with dates of deadlines and you can also proceed your registration.

16th International Symposium on Ostracoda...



The 16th International Symposium on Ostracoda will be organized in Brasilia (Brazil) in 2009 by Dr. Dermeval DoCarmo and his team.


The International Symposium on Ostracoda is sponsores by IRGO – The International Research Group on Ostracoda.


The 16th edition is the first held in South America and it is with great honor that Brazilian ostracodologists invite colleagues from world wide to attend this meeting in Brasília, the capital of Brazil.


The scientific activities comprise oral and poster presentations, conferences, courses, small meetings and field trips. For more information take a look in the recently launched Symposium Page.
